The Holland Blog received another anonymous letter with two pictures (only one is shown as they are almost identical) by mail about irregularities in the Highway Department of our town. Brian Johnson is our elected Highway Superintendent and son of one of our elected selectmen, Earl Johnson. The Department is under the control of Brian Johnson. The Holland Blog has not altered the text or the picture, to read the letter and view the picture, click here»

Taking it Home
Again selective who they pick on. I recall the Outreach Worker was allowed to work out of her home in BRIMFIELD while recovering from surgery on more than one occasion. There is so much to be said when it comes to who can pick on who. Senior Citizens have the right to privacy. The Outreach Worker also gossips to no other than Earl Johnson That is how he knows tooooo much about the seniors in this town. Stand in the hallway sometime in the Town Hall and LISTEN. You will be surprised. Confidentially..... NOT

Take work home
You Should thank Dave for what he is doing for the board of Health of Holland. He is writing a website to make it easy for all residents to access Board of Health records as is required under the sunshine laws.

A guy working hard at home for the good of our town? For no personal gain...Make him a Selectman..(just kiddin earl) Dave don't wanna die.

Anyhow Thank you for your dedication Dave and why don't you give Peter a link to your site.

Explain
Please explain the highwayguys article a bit. If somebody starts at 6am, then an 8 hour shift means they get out at 2pm. I believe you get an hour's worth of break time a day so 2 15 minute breaks and a half hour lunch or an hour lunch altogether.

Summer Hours
Hey Guess what they are supposed to be working Summer Hours. That is four 10 hour days. It is another way they rob us. Four day workweeks. Johnson should be writing grants
