Speak out Holland! (no.32)

speak-out-speak-up speak-out-speak-up
We have not done this for a long time... everybody is invited to go of topic here. I will soon re-activate the Holland Blog and inform the community about ongoings this community has a right to know.
Check back soon, you will be shocked; learn about the recent embarassing improprieties of James Wettlaufer, Brian Johnson, and others. As always backed up with court documents, letters, and transcripts, to rule out misinformation.

Also, do you have any questions or suggestions? Comment about anything that is amusing you or about anything that is bothering you, but do it in a civilized manner! I will delete obvious lies and offensive comments. To read previous comments under this category, click on “Speak Out Holland” on the left of this blog under the heading “Categories.”

Free Rent
The firefighter is not just sleeping at the fire station to provide quick response... It IS HIS ONLY HOME..! Is there an occupancy permit required to allow someone to live at the fire station..? What about liability if he or his friends are hurt on town property. What does it cost in extra heat, lights, etc... What else is Foster giving away..?

Just stop
Dalmatian, are you apart of the fire department? Do you do any work there or at the highway department? Are you really good friend with someone there? If not do you know everything that happens there? Do you know if this person does anything for the fire department or the town extra on their own time without getting paid for it. If not pay attention to your life. I do know some of the guys and girls up there. They all are great people. They all do alot of work without getting paid for it because they love the department and the town but people like you make them not want to do anything on their time. So just back off, pay attention to your life because I am sure your life or you are not perfect.

Volunteers
Free rent, heat, and electricity is worth about 10 thousand a year. The live-in volunteer at the Firehouse is well compensated for his services. Perhaps we could put in some bunk beds and fill all our town service jobs with homeless "volunteers".
Our town employees at the town barn have been robbing us for years.. Look at our roads. Where does our Chapter 90 money go.?? To the selectmans discretionary account that's where! Wettlaufer redirects it to finance losing lawsuits.

One town employee named is a Hoarder and could be on a Hoarders All Star show. His neighbor complained but because this Hoarder works at the town no action was taken. So the neighbor sued the Hoarder themselves and he was ordered buy the Court to clean up his property.. The Hoarder takes town trucks and town guys and brings most of his crap to storage at the town barn.

I could go on and on but I will end this with condolences for Scotty for the passing of his Dad. Sorry for your loss Scotty.

RIP KC
We lost another promising youngster to a Heroin overdose this weekend. Such a shame.
RIP Kasey Curboy... May your energy ride the waves in the cosmos,
Jim L.

In case you wonder...
In case you wonder why there is no Board of Selectmen meeting tonight, it is because the meeting was not posted as required by law. According to one of my sources, Amy Bishop, the executive secretary simply forgot to post the meeting as she is suppose to do.
There you have it....

What is so difficult?
I'm still waiting for that Tuesday when the battery in the Microphone is not dead, the microphone switched on, the camera switched on, that we have sound, that we have a picture, that we actually see the members of the Select Board and this from the get go...
What is so difficult about televising the selectboard meeting???
If all of you are morons and two weeks is too long to remember how it is done, write it down and make a check list...

Dangerous snow banks...
Brian Johnson, not everybody is driving around with an F350 pickup truck, some of us commoners just drive a regular sedan. It is very dangerous to enter an intersection without seeing oncoming traffic. Brian, you do not even make an attempt to clear the snow just a few feet down in height and back from well traveled intersections down to a level a driver of a regular car would be able to see. A car almost crashed into me at the intersection at the town hall. With all that equipment you have it should be possible to eliminate the hazardous situations at least at the busiest intersections.
Did anybody see Brian Haughey lately, our chief of police? Is ensuring the public safety not his job? It should be easy on Haughey to convince Brian to remove just as much snow that commoners can see over the snowbanks too, as he is a close friend of Johnson as I learned and spends a lot of time at the Highway barn.
