these questions?
I've been watching the Army core of engineers slowly fill in wet lands in Holland and also in Brimfield.. Does this mean I too can fill in wetlands for gain in Holland?
Also noticed there is a lot in paration for a house that has been cut in in wetlands on the right side of lakeshore drive across from the Ardizonies its the first lot on the street in the swamp, where are they going to put a septic system there? How does this work? And last thing on the list.. How is RV logging able to run a "farm" exemption on town owned properties? Properties previously known as the Circle H. Who does RV logging pay rent to if the town owns these properties? And if RV logging is paying rent or leasing where do moneys collected go? Since when are the taxes in Holland aligated to purchasing a piece of land and then a Private entity be able to use it to profit from it? Why do all of the things mentioned above all seem a little fishy, I mean really.. Didn't Ferris just finish commiting arson on the very same lot and the town just looked the way.Don't any of the things just mentioned seem to set of a red flag with anyone?

Preserving Our Lake
I've lived here 3 years now and observed that some of the ice fisherman don't seem to mind leaving their trash - firepits, chairs, boxes ect fall through the ice. Over by PJ's is prime example. Wondering if this bothers anyone else and any ideas on helping prevent it. If the lake gets overly trashed believe our property values will also! Maybe signs would help "if you carry it out - bring it back". Don't know if the HRA would be a vehicle to help eliminate some of the trash and disregard for the environment.

Hey Capyosarian
That trash left on the lake is from our highway workers fishing on their time off..It is good to see they moved to the north
Side of the lake. Beware of complaining about them or they could visit your place and shut u up.

HOLLAND, Mass. (WWLP) - Two dogs are lucky to be alive tonight after falling into an icy lake in the Hampden County town of Holland.

Officer Jordan Manthorn told 22News that at around 12:30 Sunday afternoon, two fairly large dogs fell through the ice and into the frigid waters of a lake near Lakeridge Drive. Officer Manthorn described one of the dogs as in "rough shape," saying that she was in the water for a good length of time.

He said rescuers had trouble getting to the dogs because of a wall that surrounds the lake.

Both dogs were handed over to an animal control officer and taken to a local animal hospital. They're still trying to locate the dogs’ owner.

Moving to Holland
I want to purchase land in Holland to build a retirement home but the land for sale is not conforming to zoning laws and/or it's too expensive. I've served the military for 27 years and the Department of Defense for 33 years yet I'm likely to be ripped off by Holland officials and their corrupt associates in my attempt to finally make my "American Dream" a reality. I was born in Southbridge in 1960, left when I was 16, bounced around CT, MA and CA since. Holland and Union have always been my retreat. I plan to be a committed community member of Holland but it's apparent I'll never escape the harmful affects of corruption and favoritism. I look forward to meeting, and joining forces with, concerned community members. Thank you Peter Frei for all that you have provided with your website.

Moving to Holland?
In second thought, why be committed to a lost cause? Maybe moving to Wales would be better. I want to retire, not fight in another war!

Full Time Firefighter
It is nice to know there is finally a full time live in firefighter at the firehouse ... Now if firefighters get an alarm they can respond much faster.
