Speak out Holland! (no.5)

As every 6th of the month, everybody is invited to go off topic here. Comment about anything that is bothering you, but do it in a civilized manner! I will trash obvious lies and offensive comments. Holland Police
I was traveling down Sturbridge Road Saturday night when I saw a van that had been stopped by Officer Duggan and Wales Police. They had two people outside the van and the male had cuffs on him. I got home and turned my scanner on curious to what was happening! All I was able to get was "One in Custody for fugitive from justice"..Sounds pretty intense. If I only knew what that meant!!Anybody know any more about the situation??

Gleason going to jail??
I heard this morning at work that KEVIN GLEASON is going to be doing some jail time! 2 maybe 3 years... Is it true?? Does anyone know? I'm sure he deserves it. I just want to know if he is going for date rape, the illegal sales of firearms or stealing pot from the evidence locker. Mr. Frei do you know?

Earl Johnson's buddy Gleason
"By one of his many victims," no I don't know yet. What I do know is that the minutes to the selectboard meetings of April 21, May 5, and June 2, in particular the minutes to the executive sessions held during these meetings are not available yet. According to the town clerk, the "issue is not resolved yet."

Chief?
I was wondering what the status is concerning the hiring of a new police chief? Does anyone know if the town is planning on hiring a new part time chief in the near future?

rhetoric
I went into the town hall assessors office last week to get an abutters list for our property and had a pleasant conversation with the assessors clerk. I also met her husband Pete who joined her in her office. She chided me about one of the posts I made on this blog about Earls Girls where I used the word concubine.

Although I meant it in a satirical editorial way the word still seemed to bother her. I believe that when two people work so closely together as boss/underling thet the underling through osmosis becomes likeminded to the boss.

That is what was demonstrated on several occassions by many of the town employees and continues to this day. I apologize to the Assessors Clerk for my hasty choice of words and I wish you and Pete many more years of "Happily ever after" Thank you for your professional and prompt response to my requests.

Your statement to me that we all must follow rules makes me laugh as I think how Earl and the rest of the corrut ones in the town hall bend and break any and all rules that get in their way.

But I appreciate your attempt to speak to me in an honest and courteous manner. Thank You,

Jim LaMountain

Crooked cop in Southbridge
Wow. I should have been a police officer. How about that Southbridge cop who got caught with his hands in the cookie jar..?

You know the officer was executing a search warrant and kept 600.00 for himself. Then he later admitted it when all the evidence pointed to him as the theif. Do you think he got charged with stealing... NO ! The Police Chief said that the guilty officer was punished enough by losing his job.
Forget the criminal felony .. there will be no charges against the crooked cop.

WHat kind of message does that send out to all the law abiding citizens and hardworking honest cops who pay the salary of these crooked public servants. Don't we deserve to be protected against crooked cops and politicians.

I say we need major changes in our government and the first would be to institute a code of Honor for our elected ones not unlike the military.

Holland town hall would have no selectmen if Honor was required to fill the seat.
