Grand Opening, June 12th!

Dick and Rick Hoyt are a legend in their own right. Watching videos and reading about the “Team Hoyt,” I had teary eyes more than once. Dick, Richard E. Hoyt, bought a summer cottage on 241 Mashapaug Road back in 1983. He is a retired Lt. Colonel, having served the country in the Air National Guard for 37 years. Dick is not just a father, he is a truly remarkable man. To learn what his latest plans are and what the Grand Opening is all about, click here!»

To Mr Hoyt
Mr Frei,
I just want to say This is such a beautiful and touching tribute to such a wonderfull and couragous Father and Son great job. Mr Hoyt if you happen to read this I want you to know if you need anything to let me know. I told you this the other day when I saw you at Howletts and I mean it! I want you to know I have more in common with you then you know. I too was born with the umbilocal cord wrapped around my neck as a child. When my Mother gave birth to me I was rushed out of the Hospital room and my parents were not given the chance to bond with their newborn son.My outcome happen to be different then you and your sons but I can relate. My Uncle suffers from C.P. and has been in a wheel chair his whole life. My other Uncle who works for the City of Worcester as a Police Officer used to run road races with my Uncle and you can bet you and your son were a very big insperation to them! Mr Hoyt often times Police Officers are reffered to as "Heroes"...but you know what I signed up to do this job and in my book you and your son are "True Heroes" and deserve all the credit in the world! Thank you for being an inspiration to all of us!

The Good and the Ugly
“Officer Herb Duggan,” thanks for the kudos on the Team Hoyt tribute. I’m trying hard to be “thorough” with everything I take on; the Good and the Ugly. However, to write about the Good is more enjoyable and satisfying!
I noticed the time you posted your comment. Are you working nights to finish the remodeling job of the police station downstairs? I hope not…

A Parents Love
As a father of 7 children, 4 biological as well as 3 private foster children I have had since 2001 I can understand the motivation behind team Hoyt. As a parent I know you live your life for your Children once you have them. Mr Hoyt, I salute you Sir.

Team Hoyt
Dick :
Just want you to know I have just come back from Hawia. How respected you are there on Kona. So well known are you and Rick. I need not have to read all the comments about you on this site to know what a wonderful and loving man you are. Just this week I spoke to one of your followers on Kona. This person could not say enough good things about you. Love always to you and yours.
Napoleon
