Holland Market burglarized twice

Is it a sign of economic desperation or just plain criminal activity? Smoking cigarettes can add up these days and if you need beer to have a good time it certainly is difficult to finance your vices in these economic difficult times. "Hooland
Someone burglarized the Holland Market Saturday night February 28. The thieve(s) broke into the building on 130 Mashapaug Road by dismantling a wooden board which was covering the opening for the air-conditioning unit. The thieves climbed through the opening in the wall and helped themselves to a large quantity of cigarettes, beer and other merchandise. There was also a small amount of cash missing. The second burglary took place just three days later, on Tuesday night March 3rd.

The store owner Dave Hansen was forced to install an alarm system in his store. Since Dave took over his store to run the business himself, the prices dropped. The service is friendly and you can get the best grinders in town freshly made to your likings at a bargain price of less than $6.00 for a turkey grinder 12" long!! I actually don't know a place in any of the surrounding towns either where you could get a better grindner.

If you have any information about this crime, please contact the Holland Police Department at 413 245 0117 or the State Police at 508 721 4040.
